Unblocking My Own Email Address: Help Needed

What steps can I take to unblock my own email address?

If you’ve accidentally blocked your own email address, don’t worry - it’s easy to unblock it. Here’s how:

For Outlook.com

  1. Log in to Outlook.com and head to Settings by clicking the gear icon at the top right corner.
  2. In the left menu, select Mail > Junk Mail.
  3. Under the Junk Mail section, you’ll see all the email addresses you’ve blocked, including your own.
  4. Select the email address or domain you want to unblock and select Add to Safe senders or Remove from Blocked senders.

For Outlook App (Windows/Mac)

  1. Open your Outlook app and go to Tools > Junk Email Preferences.
  2. In the Blocked Senders and Domains section, select the email address or domain you want to unblock.
  3. Click the Remove the selected sender button.

For Outlook Web App

  1. Log in to the Outlook Web App.
  2. Click the Settings cog wheel at the top right corner.
  3. Search for “blocked senders and domains” in the search field and open the options.
  4. Under Blocked Senders and Domains, click the trash icon next to the contact or email address you want to unblock.
  5. Click Save.
