Duplicate Birthdays in Outlook on My PC

On my Outlook PC, I'm seeing multiple birthday entries for contacts.

I've checked and there's only one contact entry for each person.

No other apps have access to these contacts.

It seems like Outlook Desktop is storing old birthday entries.

When I check Web Outlook, I only see one birthday entry per person.

How can I remove the duplicate birthday entries?

Thanks,

If you see multiple birthday entries for contacts on your Outlook PC and you only have one contact entry for each person, there are a few steps you can take to remove the duplicate birthdays.

Firstly, to prevent duplicate calendar items from happening in the future, ensure you do not allow duplicate events when importing calendar items. In the Import and Export Wizard, select either the “Do not import duplicates” or “Replace duplicates with items imported” option to prevent duplicates from being created.

Steps to Remove Duplicate Birthdays

  1. Open Outlook on your desktop.
  2. In the Navigation Pane, select the Calendar folder.
  3. On the View tab, in the Current View group, click Change View, and then click List.
  4. Click the Subject column heading to arrange all the calendar items by subject.
  5. Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking each duplicate calendar item in the list.
  6. When you have selected all the duplicate calendar items, press DELETE to remove them from your Calendar.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove the duplicate birthday entries from your Outlook PC.
